Greetings from New York City!
This morning, I had the opportunity to join DeMarco Morgan and Eva Pilgrim to talk about Learning to Disagree on GMA3’s “Faith Friday” segment.
In response to Eva’s question about how we can disagree better, I suggested that rather than focusing on the argument, we focus on the relationship:
Learning to disagree is an ongoing activity. We’re never going to fully finish it. We’re going to keep trying. We’re going to screw up, we’re going to fail, we’re going to hurt people. We’re going to need to ask for grace and forgiveness and try again.
With the holidays just around the corner, Learning to Disagree might just be the gift (maybe even a passive-aggressive gift!) for that hard-to-shop-for loved one.
Who knew… here comes the next Dr Phil! Well done.
Great to see the three of you!
